I have a long commute to and from work every day and every day, I pass cars with this type of sticker. I try not to count them but I almost always find myself amazed at how prolific and fertile some folks are. Always in the mini-van or super-sized SUV.
ReplyDeleteI would like just one, please. Just one.
Thank you for your photo, Colleen. I see these stickers all the time... and I just *sigh*. It's not that I mind that people have large families... it's just the way the stickers somehow make it all seem simple.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see these stickers I think of a lot of things. I think that probably it is kid driven for parents to buy them and is just fun for the family. This helps me cope.
ReplyDeleteI always look at them and probably think they hurt a lot more people then me. Can you imagine your the single woman that always wanted to marry and have kids? You can't exactly drive around with a single lady on the back of your car! You'll have some strange guy follow you home!!! Or what about an only child that wants a brother or sister or the parent that was not able to have another child. That probably hurts for them too. Or the grandparents of infertile kids. Or for a child who has lost their parent. Or the parent who has lost their child. Oh jeez, the list can go on and on.
Just accepting what you have is what is perfect for you can be difficult but it is where I need to go in my life.
